Not looking forward (to March 23rd)

So much for Spring Break and escorting my sophomores around because my 3 days of teaching will definitely run into the day they're coming to visit! Hopefully, I can still go with the kids on their trip to Atlanta the next day! :) That's going to be a tough week especially since I even microteach that Tuesday afternoon! Yikes.

Well, I had time to make a draft of my plans. So far so good I think. I'll e-mail my prof with the draft tomorrow and pray he's in the office. :/

I knew I wouldn't get much of a break, but I thought I'd at least get to read books of my choice. Sadly, instead, I sit around for endless hours, thinking and thinking. Why oh why did I decide to do this? It's a tough job if you want to make it fun. I feel bad for the students when they get bored like today. They were full of energy at first but then the teacher's lecture bored them to death. I started falling asleep. :(

Teaching isn't easy people. Also, I only have 3 days planned not my 5-day unit. The chapter is too short to need 5 days so I'll have to branch out. My plan is to have the 3 days done with first though. Gah, I still have a lit review and all sorts of other things to do. :(

Okay, so no more having people over because it's a bother to me and my work. I just need to buckle down. One of the things I'm concerned about is making the stuff I need to have for the lesson plan. It's a lot of stuff I plan to do, but I want to make sure that the plans are okay before I even make everything. Possibly, I can just take pictures of the items instead of having to make an extra kit for my prof.

Tuesday - write down everything I have and research what I need for my lesson plans, make the things I need so far
Wednesday - whatever I didn't finish yesterday, e-mail all the stuff I have so far to Reid, do the other 2 days
Thursday - finish up
Friday/Saturday - lit review
Sunday - readings
