Since yesterday...

:( I don't want to talk about it too much. I hope I didn't fuck it up, but I'm kind of really nervous now. Let's just say I really want to watch "He's Not That Into You," which Yancey promised to nab for me tomorrow. I mean, even if I did fuck it up, I was being who I am so what can I do?

Yesterday was a hoot. It was 10 P.M. and I was baking cookies. Yance and I went to rent movies, grabbed Kris and Huevos, and went to a party. I was driving, took Kris home around 1 so he could go to work, came back, didn't play beer pong cause I really really suck (flip cup is better), and then played some weird slap bag game on a bag of boxed wine. Well, I chugged wine twice, had a beer, and then had a rum/Sprite mixed drink... and I was hungover. I still went to the gym cause I'm a trooper. Also, I need to go badly. I'm working on me completely.

Start of another uneventful week?

Sunday and Monday have been rather dull. I sat around the house, praying for something to do.

On Sunday, I went to Earthfare and made myself some food. Then I decided I needed to work out so I did. Bonnie came over to visit. Kris and his friends came over to visit. I baked.

On Monday, or rather yesterday, we tried to get Yancey to see Static X (I have no idea who they are since they're some sort of punk band) but we failed because they were late to Caffiend, the 24-hour coffee shop. I ran for 15 minutes, walked 15 as mentioned in a previous post then did some sit-ups and did my 30-minute workout before showering. Anyways, after all the sad looking for things to do, my neighbor had us go to Usual Suspects. Kris loves it so I invited him and Tucker also. We made a "destiny" napkin and a "hit list" for me. Haha. What happens sometimes is they try to hit on girls. It never amounts to much until Tucker stepped it up and went over to two girls. It didn't work out, but he didn't completely fail. Also, I am very proud of him. Jess and her ex showed up also. No details there.

Today, I just finished my essay and will be turning in my application to re-register for school. I also am putting in the mail my application for Camp Invention and my Netflix movie ("Nights in Rodanthe," which I didn't really watch). I might have to buy paper first. Possibly lunch depending on when my dad is leaving tomorrow. I need to eat healthy but I would like to take my dad out before he goes home. Then, I will buy some 10x10 scrapbooking paper to finish my dad's scrapbook tonight. I want to go over to the rec center to do some aerobics tonight in lieu of my workouts. Hope it all pans out. (Oh yeah, paid for my registration renewal! Just need to get my inspection soon!)

I found out Target renovated their branding on products. I haven't seen it yet, but I'll be on the look out.

I'm like a ringleader, I call the shots.

I need to budget my money. I say this all the time too. Well, May is the time to do it because I'm graduating and I need to become an adult. Am I ready? Also, I'm student teaching so that's a big crunch.

My expenses per month should be as follows:
$100 for gas nowadays
$250 for food
$100 for car insurance
= $450

I should spend much less money on food and drinks. I'm not going to drink so much anymore. Instead, I'm eating healthy and at home. I can do this in MAY. MAY. MAY. I will have to this summer and after.

I think my mom will pay for my class this summer. I'm taking Spanish 4 possibly... I'm also waiting for her to come to get my brakes fixed and my car inspected. :/

Oh yes, I'm canceling Netflix cause there are other ways to watch shows.

My dad may buy me a new car after I student teach. Hm, let's look at cars them okay?

Mini Cooper $19,500

Honda Civic Hybrid $24,500 or Honda Civic LX $19,000

Volkswagen Jetta $17,750

Subaru Impreza 2.5i $19,225

Toyota Corolla LE $18,500

Mazda3 Sport 5-door $21,000

Making a list, checking it twice.

Happy March! I wanted to make a list of things I want to do in the near future... or someday. In no particular order...

Maybe, maybe not

I didn't pick an easy major. That's not fair to say because it wasn't easy for me. I picked something I enjoy and not something that my parents wanted. :/ I also know what I'm doing with my life: teach. Everyone else if off to grad school; I can't do another two years no matter how much I enjoyed college. I'm done with it for now even if I'm not sure what else to do.

I don't really party and I should come to realize it's not for me - that's not who I am. I'm more domesticated and all the drinking is a bit much (especially after yesterday). A lot of it is fear, I think. There's a want to enjoy partying, but I'm still not completely happy with what I look like on the outside. I wish I had more confidence and was able to just let go a little. I have rather high standards and I don't care, I'm sticking to them. I don't want to feel shame. I guess that makes it difficult sometimes to let go.

Anyways, after getting that out, I'd chat about New Year's Eve but I'm too tired. I drank a little too much and got more wasted than I've ever been. Besides passing out and my extreme hangover, it was fun to go to a party with Van. I miss Van so much! I'm going to strive to be more like her in some ways. She's rather outgoing I realized and I'm pretty happy to have her and all my friends in my life. :) It gave me some more considerations about moving closer though at the same time, the experiences here also provided me with reasons not to move back here.

Another one of my resolutions needs to be, stop talking about people. I'm pretty terrible at it and I must admit my faults. I'm just intrigued by people way too much. I wish I had such experiences (not all of them of course) that I could share with everyone. I try.

I guess for 2009, I'm going to keep working on me and try to gain some confidence in myself. After that, I'd love to do some parties and such, but I need to keep in mind how comfortable/uncomfortable I am at parties. I want to be social, but I don't necessarily need to party. I like the party people though because that's where I see hot guys. :)

Resolutions 2009

Okay okay, so 2009 is coming in 3 days and I thought I should make a banging list of resolutions.

The first three are goals for January and if I can take it, beyond...

  • No fries.
  • No chips.
  • No candy.
  • Eat better. (5 Healthy Breakfast Recipes and other wonderful guides from Whole Living)
  • Run 2 times a week.
  • Work out 4 times a week.
  • Sleep early. As in, before midnight.
  • Read a book a month. This is a tough thing to do with all the reading I already have.
  • Stop buying magazines. Instead, sit at the bookstore for hours and read them if necessary. :)
  • Learn to knit.
  • Stop going out to eat.
  • Use a check register to keep track of my finances.
  • Less partying and drinking? This is iffy, but I need to get my sleep. How about once a week and never on weekdays.
  • Do the dishes everyday.
  • Keep the house clean. More of this later because I'll need small steps to achieve this one.
I'll add more ASAP. One of the big goals of course is to lose weight. I did a great 25 pounds last year and I need another 25 pounds until I get to a good, healthy weight. I think that my mini-resolutions help to achieve the ultimate goal.
