California ranch and bungalows

Having lived in Southern California for my whole childhood doesn't make me want to move back, but Southern California has some of the nicest ranch homes. I discovered their bungalows and love them too. If I ever do move back, it'll be for the houses.

Thankfully, my favorites aren't the million-dollar homes but the ones around 400-800K. It's still pretty expensive, but not completely unfathomable.

Modernist Bungalow isn't particularly my style, but it's put together really nicely.








The exteriors are sometimes more fantastic than the interiors...

Charleston was a disappointment, mostly

I found either ritzy, expensive stores or dilapidated homes. The difference was huge. The segregation was apparent. Though the day was beautiful and the architecture gorgeous, I was depressed. I drove 3 and a half hours each way today. Lame.

The only store I enjoyed was Vanity with its beautiful bags and accessories. They weren't too expensive either. They had Louis Vuitton, which was obviously too expensive, and gross stores that reminded me of Vera Bradley. Ew.

I think my camera battery died... officially. :/ Since the lens protecting metal thing fell off and I can't put it back on, I'm looking at new cameras to replace my 2 year old. I would never do this to a kid... haha. Also, I really do love my camera. :(

I want new Mac products.

I would like Fridays if Fridays liked me.

Fridays hate me. Scheduling all morning. "Sex and the City" and nap during the late afternoon. Not much else. No homework was done. How sad. :(

1. Oh, I am so emotional!
2. Weather changes, big and little.
3. During the week, I sleep in a lot. I need tutoring ASAP.
4. Local high school; are you kidding me? Take me!
5. Right now I'd like to be sure about her student teacher placement and busy.
6. The TV is my favorite gadget.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to napping, tomorrow my plans include homework and Barnes & Noble and Sunday, I want to not do homework but will!

I love scheduling. Is that weird? I like the control when my life is out of control sometimes.
